French open is second grand slam of the year mostly played in the month of may in Paris, France. In French it is referred as Roland Garros, named after a French aviator. It is also most prestigious tournament of the four Australian, Wimbledon and US open. This is the only tennis grand slam which is played on Clay. Clay Courts are slower as compare to Hard and Grass courts so its a most physically demanding tournament of all. So, this was brief introduction about French Open.
